Syracuse Auto Expo preview raised almost 0K for charity

Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse Auto Expo Charity Preview raised a record $291,000 for Central New York charities this year.

The Syracuse Auto Dealers Association, which sponsored the Feb. 15 event at the Oncenter, presented checks to 14 charities Thursday. 

A list of the charities and the amounts they received:

Crouse Health Foundation, $11,424

David’s Refuge Inc., $51,195

Hospice of Central New York, $25,749

Huntington Family Centers Inc., $11,351

Learning Disabilities Association of Central New York, $26,690

The Loretto Foundation, $13,366

Make A Wish of Central New York, $20,697

Maureen’s Hope Foundation Inc., $47,986

Meals On Wheels of Syracuse, $23,732

National Kidney Foundation of Central New York, $22,323

Syracuse Community Connections, $3,216

The next Syracuse Auto Expo will be held Nov. 2 through Nov. 5 this year at the Oncenter. The charity preview will be held on Nov. 1. (The show is being moved to the fall because the American Bowling Congress Championships will be held at the Oncenter in February.)
