A go-fund-me account for 17 year-old Dustin Mondics, the Moravia High senior critically injured last Tuesday when his car crashed into a tractor trailer, has climbed to more than $14,000.  Dustin is in critical condition at Upstate Medical and has already undergone two major surgeries with a few more still to come.  The money raised will help offset some of the medical costs.

Dustin’s car crossed into the path of a tractor trailer driven by 64 year-old Kenneth Nelson of Homer on Long Hill Road in Moravia.  Nelson sustained minor injuries.  State Police say slippery road conditions may have caused Dustin’s car to veer out of control.
