New Year’s revelers may see some light snow Saturday night into Sunday morning, the National Weather Service at Albany said Saturday.

“There will be enough to make the roads slick,” said Steve DiRienzo, a NWS meteorologist.

About a half inch of snow could fall in the Albany, Schenectady and Troy areas.

To the north in the Saratoga Springs area, 11/2 to two inches of snow may fall.

Glens Falls may get up to three inches of snow, while the Adirondacks may get four to six inches.

Temperatures will hover around 32 degrees across the Capital Region before rising to the mid 30s Sunday.

New Year’s Day will be sunny.

Monday will see the arrival of a sloppy winter mix in the afternoon.
