Ulster grad selected as SUNYCON fellow

STONE RIDGE >> Audrey Pottinger, a SUNY Ulster graduate and immediate past student trustee, has been named to the Class of 2016 SUNYCON Fellows.

As one of this group of students and faculty from throughout the state university system, Pottinger will participate in a conference aimed at sustaining the SUNY higher-education sector.

Students were chosen for their interest in innovation in higher education and will participate in exclusive events during an annual conference and share what they learn about the theme, “The Forces Shaping the Future of Higher Education,” with students and faculty at their home campuses.

SUNY developed SUNYCON, its critical issues in higher-education conference series, to create a forum for conversations about the status and future of higher education among society’s stakeholders — scholars, academic leaders, business and industry, and policy makers.
