Ithaca man with 9 suspensions on his license faces DWI charge

TOWN OF DRYDEN, N.Y. –An Ithaca man driving with nine suspensions on his license was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated.

Bobby D. Krebs, 35, was arrested at about 2:51 a.m. Wednesday after he failed to stop his vehicle at a stop sign on Lower Creek Road in the Town of Dryden, state police said.

He was charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated for having a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent. Krebs was also charged with felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic violations.

State police said a computer check of Krebs’ driving license showed that he had nine suspensions in effect.

Krebs was arraigned in the Town of Dryden court and sent to the Tompkins County jail in lieu of $300 cash bail or $600.
