pALBANY — The state is offering licensing exams for people who want to rehabilitate wildlife or practice falconry./ppThe state Department of Environmental Conservation says the exams will be held at the agency’s regional offices on April 8. Exams also will be held that day for people who want to use leashed dogs to recover dead or injured big game./ppThe registration deadline for the two-hour exams is March 18./ppA five-year falconry license costs $40. The fee for a five-year license for a leashed tracking dog handler is $50 plus a $25 application fee. /ppThere is no cost for a five-year wildlife rehabilitator license./p
